Unhappy Engine codes P0300 and P2302

I am stumped - Anyone know of causes beryond what I have included below that would cause the jeep to keep tripping codes P0300 and P2302?

I have a 09 Jeep wrangler JK that malfunctioned while in the mountains and produced Engine Codes P2302 and P0300. Suggested caused included: 1) bad sprk plug wires. 2) Bad ignition coil. 3) bad spark plugs. Plugs 1 and 4 were not firing after replacement of coil, wires and plugs.

I replaced wires, plugs and coil three times to ensure these items were not deffective. I still get the codes immedietly after starting the jeep after removing previous codes from computer.

Never encountered this problem in past.

P0300
P= powertrain
0= SAE
3= Injection Systems or Misfire
00= Multiple Cylinder Misfire

P2302
P= powertrain
2= n/a
3= Fuel and Air Metering (Injector Circuit)
02= Ignition Coil 1 Secondary Circuit- Insufficient Ionization

If you're still getting those after replacing the parts you've replaced, i'd take a close look at the sensors (check voltages) and go from there. I'm guessing when you changed the parts u unplugged the battery, but for whatever reason if you haven't done so then unplug the battery for a while.

I see this is an old thread but has Anybody run across a fix for this CEL code? My daughters 2008 JKU doing exact same thing and same code. Cylinder 1 & 4 has no spark after start? Same parts replaced. Not finding the issue?

Did you figure out the issue? I have the exact same issue on cylinder 1, and 4. I’ve done injectors, plugs, wires and crankshaft sensor. Still same codes.

Yes, We ended up buying a reman PCM and runs fine, no CEL's. Turned out the PCM had already been replaced 2 years ago!

Recently bought a new to me 2017 2 door JK. It has 121K Miles on it. ran smooth for the first 2 weeks then got a CEL turned out it was Code PO430 the driver side Cat needed to be replaced. What causes a Cat Converter to go bad? I read that GM will replace of less than 10 years old and under 150K Miles... Bought the jeep second hand from dealer so all warranties are void. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has dealt with this? My JKU was a 2014 and it didn't ever have any Cat Converter problems.

my 2017 JK - SubZRO no E!

My '12 JKUR threw that code years ago and the dealership diagnostic told me I needed to replace cats on both sides, plus O2 sensors, to the tune of $3600. I said no thanks. On a whim, I tried a couple of bottles of Cataclean and the code cleared. Has happened a couple of times since, but the same treatment took care of it. And it has passed the CA smog test, so I know the cats haven't failed. Might be worth a shot for you.
