If your looking to do it on the cheap, give AEV or any of the turnkey Hemi swap shops a call. I'd bet they have some low mileage 3.8's for sale for far less then the dealer.

Start with simple net searches:

Wrangler Ls Engine Swap.

Jeep JK Wrangler Hemi Vs. LS Engine.

Jeep JK Wrangler LS v* Engine Swap

A well built 700R4 will work fine for just about ever. I have a semi built 47Re in my truck and have put well over 1000 Ft/Lbs through it my modded 6BT Cummins. The 700R4 is a great cousin to the 47 and fits the 4bt perfectly.

Yikes did not see this. Any "upgraded" engine swap at a minimum is going to be roughly 10K when all is said and done. (Figure 4 grand for the kits available, a few grand for a decent engine with accessories, a grand or so for a trans , driveshafts , misc parts , exhaust , fluids , and shop supplies) This of course does not include Labor as everybody has their own idea on what their labor time is ... or have a shop do the labor.

Or Option B; a forced induction 3.8 (Turbo or Super) for the price of a piddly 3.8 and 4-6 grand for a air mover to make as much as 419 crank horse @ peak boost or a nice broad off idle power building up to 240 Wheel Horse.
