Hey guys , how's everyone doing. I have a question for you guys . I have a 2010 wrangler unlimited with 26,000 miles on it. I been having this slight tapping noise coming from the right side of the engine near the manifold from underneath the engine. I took it to three different dealers and they say they can't hear it but plaining I can . Plus when your driving you can hear a ticking noise around 2000 2500rpms. As anyone else have this problem . I removed the heat shield looking for cracks but can't find nothing. Also had it to the dealer for a rear clunk . They hear it but can't find nothing wrong . I looked at all the u joints control arms sway bar bushing sounds like it coming from the gears inside the pumpkin.

 

Bump anyone have this problem

 

Does it sound like an exhaust leak or valve train noise?

 

I am having the same issue with the same results from the dealership. My Rubicon is an 09: with 35k.

 

To me it sounds like a valve train noise. Its was at the dealer yesturday and still there. I told them to keep it another day and mess around with it in the morning.
