on road it is ok. i won't complain too much
but offroad it bites ass. there is plenty of stuff that i can get thru in 2WD where i don't need 4WD. besides the fact if i want to go bust a donut or two, or 30, then that is my business. i don't like the electric nanny telling me i can't go do that.

I am a pilot, professional ski instructor and former motorcycle racer. All of which require(d) me to accurately direct expensive equipment at high rates of speed.....frankly, i'd rather not have a computer involved. Same applies to my Jeep. So far the electronic magic doesn't seem to work too well.
And before someone chimes in re: aircraft and computers, i fly old rag-wing taildraggers.....NO COMPUTERS.

I don't feel it is to much incursion by a computer. I got rid of my 04' to get in to this 4x4x4JK and the thing that I hated most about all my previous Jeep's is the fact that after just a little snow on the road I would need 4xwheel drive or have no traction at green lights. With the ESP I found it to be in 2xwheel until the snow got pretty significant.........it's a nice option. But I do think it should be an option you can turn off with your key like the old passenger airbags.
