Default ESP problem

Everytime I make a very sharp turn my ESP light comes on and it feels like it is slipping really bad. I do not have to be going fat for this to happen. What could be wrong?

When driving straight, is your steering wheel straight? Or is turned in one direction or the other slightly? i.e., Is your steering wheel centered?

Have performed an alignment since installing your lift? There is a write-up describing how to do your own alignment. http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...-end-alignment

The alignment and steering wheel being centered do effect the ESP.

could be a bad sensor, mud or moisture can get in there and mess with it, or it could be a pinched or pulled ESP line... does it happen only turning one way, or both ways? Crawl under the Jeep and look for the little electric cables that attach to the back of the brake... are they fitted correctly?

Centering the steering is not hard... though getting mine perfect was tough... also, sometimes the ESP light does not go off until you drive 50 miles after you center it.

Even though this is in the stock JK area... are you lifted? Often times lifts mess with the ESP for some reason. This was happening to my friends JK and his brakes wore out within a few months. He now just hits his ESPOFF button and hasn't had a problem since.
