Exhaust header part numbers?
Hi Guys,
I have a set of cracked headers and looking to replace them. By what I've found on the forum it looks like I'll just be replacing with OEM, only decent replacement would be the RIP headers and they are way too much $$$. All the shorties either don't add to any performance or just melt everything under the hood.
My question is regarding the part numbers, I read some lore on the forum that Chrysler is aware of the cracking header issue and made a new casting for it so there are two part numbers out there for the same header? (new and an old)
Does anyone know what those are? I've found two rather easily and assume they are the new ones.
4666024AD (Driver)
4666026AB (Passenger)
Thanks,

Thanks,
I can tell you that these are not the part numbers in the 2007 parts manual I have. Same numerics, but the suffixes are AB and AA, respectively. Can't tell you what the changes might be, however.
The latest part numbers, 04666024AD left side, and 04666026AC right side, began with the 2008 model JK, and are applicable to 2007 - 2011 JKs.
Since the last two letters on each part number haven't changed since 2008, it looks like no improvements were made after 2008.
