extra plug under dash?
I have a plug under the drivers side dash that goes nowhere. It comes out of the same harness as the plug for the scan tool. it's very small and has the plastic cover over the wires. any ideas???

Snap a pic with your phone....
It could be your hemi access port. If you access it right then hit up down left right left right a b a b start select, your jeep will have a hemi...
Until we see it, it's hard to guess.

I snapped a pic (blurry cell phone) under the dash of my 2011 Jk, No extra plug. You can see the connector for the door electrics, but that's it.
Attachment 248970
So I'm no help.

It's also where several aftermarket tuners, or multi-gauges (like Aeroforce interceptor) interface with computer system.
I can't see any additional jack, as per OP.
