Default Foggy Fog lights.....headlights also

Forgive me if this has been beaten to death already but I had no luck with search. Wondering what the cause and cure of the pictured lights is. I tried polishing the headlights with no luck they almost look melted, the fog lights might polish? Thinking of just switching them out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTXNED5/?coliid=IC92402EJ1C99&colid=32MD7E6TMG2I4&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

That's just the environment taking a toll on the plastics over the years. The LXLights arm seemget good reviews. I'll be posting a set of stock headlights from a '16 soon if you're interested in staying with halogens, though not many people are....myself included.

Buff the lenses with OFF bug spray and microfiber cloth.

Buff with toothpaste, if that doesn't work, try one of the headlight lens restorer kits.
The toothpaste has worked for me, but truthfully, mine were never that bad

I used this on the tail lamps and turn signals of a 2000 XJ and they look good as new.

I've done some headlight restorations in the past. Lot of work to get really good results in my opinion. It was worthwhile when talking about $2k BMW headlights, but not so much when talking about replacing pretty cheap housings. I'd rather plop down $75 for brand new halogen housings and save the time/aggravation of sanding and polishing old lenses.

Are you anywhere close to DFW? I have my factory housings I've been holding on to for years after changing to JW Speakers. I kept them thinking if I ever sold the Speakers I'd plunk those back in, but my jeep is never getting traded in or sold....and these are just taking up space. I think I'll throw em out on Craigslist for $50.

I don't mean to short change anyone, they're on eBay below. The shipping is $13 pretty much anywhere. We're looking to get them out of the garage.

LOL, not short changing me at all. Def not worthwhile to try and refinish old ones at that cost!

Do you have the fog lamps also? I'm a couple hours east of D/FW towards Texarkana but may be going to Rockwall soon. I also have a niece in Weatherford that would probably help me get them.
