Well my Sahara finally got to the dealer today upon my inspection the foot well lights were missing , can anyone tell me if this item was discontinued

 

That Is A Very Good Qustion.

This Is My 3rd Sahara Had Both Yj And Tj And They Both Had Lights In The Foot Well Area.

I Didnt Even Notice They Were Missing Till Your Post

 

The foot well lights are still available. I do not have the part #, but I just had them installed on my Rubicon. I also found out that newer Rubicons do not have a hook up for an under hood lamp through the factory wiring harness. Not sure of Saharas do just sorta throwing that one out there... You should be able to get it installed under warranty too .

 

I've got a driver's side only light but I also have an early build. This was covered already in another thread and I believe it was stated that the newer builds don't have the foot light any more.

 

yeah... the newer build does not include footwell light and underhood light

 

good point... i sometimes forget where my feet are also!

 

The newer builds do not include the lights, but I think pretty much all of the trim levels to date have wiring provisions for one at least on the drivers side. I got mine put in under warranty. I just had them order the lights and when I came up to pay they said there was no charge .
