Default Freedom top

The freedom tops on my 2011 JK four door are not even along the front windshield; the passenger side is about 1/8 to 3/16 inch back further than the driver's side. I can't seem to get them even along the windshield, even after I removed the roll-bar locator pins. Doe sanyoine have any ideas on how to better align the panels? Thanks.

Richard

Mine ended up being off like that, maybe abit more, when I tryed to re-install after a wreck. Course it has been hanging supported by 2x4's for about a year. Couldn't tell if my tops warped or the jk body got tweaked during the wreck. Anyway, I'll prolly sell it anyhow. I never use it anyway.

Mine get put on and taken off a lot in the spring. They are often out of alignment by those measurements. But since they don't leak, I stopped worrying about it.

Mine gets taken off and on all the time and is prob off by about those measurements. I would only worry about it if you had water coming in.

Mine is off side to side. I agree with a previous poster, if it don't leak just drive it

99% are like that. With or without water leaks. Luck of the draw. Harry

This.

If it's not broke, don't fix it. Who is looking at the top of your Jeep... and actually cares about 3/8"... anyway?

It helps to put a thicker rubber pad on the the latches and screw in the two screws.
