Front axle lock?
My Front axle won't lock in nor will my sway bar disconnect. I had my dealer put on a 4" superlift when I bought it back in February, just now trying it out.
Shouldn't the dealer had made sure every thing worked when they finished with it? Any suggestions?
Thanks, JK Howdy

Because the lift does not actually affect the operation of those things, your dealer likely would not have tested them. Take it back to them though if it's not working properly. Are you able to lock the rear dif?
The rear axle locks as soon as I push the switch. I have been out playing with the Jeep and found the the front axle and sway bar will not engage/disengage unless I get the Jeep unlevel:confused: The manual says you may have to get on level ground to engage but mine is just the opposite. Oh well, I got to play with my jeep alittle today.

That's sad to hear that...
By the way, I'm still waiting for my 4 door rubi, and just curious if the frons axle is REALLY lockable????  'couse I saw some movies with rubies mudding, and I didn't see front 2 wheels spinning togather at the same time? What would that mean? Please help. Thanx in advance.

All 4 wheels where turning on mine yesterday when I drove off straight into a deep hole.
Whinch was buried in the oppesite bank. Pictures were taken, now if my son will post them. He pulled me out with his Commander.

Rubicon fan, My 1 1/2 week old rubicon shows that the front axle locks with the indicator light on the dash, and I believe it because it requires more strength to turn when it's locked than when it's not locked. My test drive was on mostly dry dirt. I also placed a tire on top of a pile of dirt and rocks with the sway bar disconnected. I got out and looked and the articulation appeared awesome.
