Y, I'm thinking I might pay up for an actual factory unit. I know the first time I replaced with a Dorman unit it was perfect. It made no sound at all like I'm experiencing now until I started having issues filling it. I was able to get that to start filling again but had the venting noise....and it eventually started giving me an issue again. The brand new Dorman I just put in had no issue filling but the noise right from the start. I think the check valve, or whatever they have in that component, is just a different design and maybe not as good. IDK, but my two, and now yours, makes me think I'll pay for a factory one.
