I keep getting a gas cap indicator every time I start up. I had a new cap but went and got another one but same problem and now I'm getting a evap check engine think it was P0456. I checked the evap canister and everything seems to be ok. Any suggestions before I have to bring it to a shop would be great. Thanks

 

Check all the vacuum lines going to the evap canister, one of them is probably cracked/broken.

I threw that code and ended up having a cracked evap can. It was a really small crack, but big enough to throw a code. I think I payed about a hundred for a new evap can.
