Default Gear question

I have searched and can't find any info on this. I have a 4.10 ring and pinion from a 2013 jku rubicon with less than 1000 miles on it.

Will it work in my 2013 jku non - rubicon? Bolt on To the carrier, does the pinion have the same amount of splines for the yoke/driveshaft?

The rear will work but the front will not. Your non Rubicon front axle is a Dana 30 but the gears you have will be Dana 44 front and rear.

The rear is what i have. What I'm not sure about is, is the spline count the same on the drive shaft yoke on the non rubi as the rubi? The rubicon pinion has 24 on it. I can't find any info on this via searching the web.

Yes I'm going to regear it. Either 4.10 or 4.56. I have a 4.10 ring and pinion that came out of a jku rubicon with less than 1000 miles on it. I'm trying to figure out if I can use it in a non rubicon. If so all I will need to do is buy the front d30 4.10

Oh ok, well the only thing I would think might be diff is the bolt holes in ring gear . Being that the carrier
In a Rubi is a locker . ( diameter wise )

I don't know what that's about but I can imagine!! Lmao

I know a couple people that have them and like them but anytime I mention buying a truetrac people go ape and basicly say don't waste your money... But I'll probably buy one for the rear anyway.

I know I love my rubicons full locking dana 44s front and rear, so if putting a true trac on your rear gets you anywhere near that awesomeness on a budget, go for it. Nothing un****s a ****ed up traction scenario like lockers.
