Default Great Ride

Just thought I'd say how much I love the ride on my stock '10 Rubi. It is my daily driver and I have about 12k miles on it so far. I use it for commuting, some highway driving, and just getting around town.

I can't believe anyone would complain the ride is too rough for a vehicle of this type. So I figured instead of starting or continuing a negative thread, I'd comment on how great I think this vehicle is even as a daily driver.

I've only owned cars before this Jeep but I'm still impressed at how well the Rubi does on the road. And off-road, well forget it, it blows away the competition.

Well spoken Daedalus, a nice thing to say about your JK.

Cheers.

I am in total agreement with my 2011 Rubicon. My wife even commented on the ride as compared to my 2009 "X" I sold. Both have 2.5 Teraflex lifts installed, and I still have a great ride on my new one. I know we hear alot of complaining about our JK's, but I love mine. I bought to provide a lot of hours of great times in the back country, and am not sorry for my purchase at all.

The OP on the other thread was talking about the short wheelbase 2-door Rubicon, not the long wheelbase 4-door Unlimited. They may look similar and share many common components however they are two completely different vehicles in terms of ride, handling, and performance.

Glad to hear some people agree. I was talking to my girlfriend the other day about the offroad capability of Jeeps, and how that compromises some street performance. She commented that she thinks the ride is very smooth considering all that.

By the way, my Jeep is a 2-door. So if a 4-door Rubi is even smoother than this, well damn, it must be like a Cadillac.
