I had a problem with an occasional long engine crank the first month I brought my Jeep home. Turned out to be the camshaft position sensor and there was TSB for it. But I didn't have the issue with low rev. It just took longer than expected to crank.

almost sounds like a fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator issue.... why wont the dealer work on it? if its under warranty doesnt chrysler require them to work on it?

in case you didn't know, you should always remove aftermarket chips or programming before taking your Jeep in for service especially when it comes to erratic engine performance...you may very well find that when you remove it the engine may run just fine...or you may not...but that's just my .02

For sure if the Jeep ran okay before then try taking the chip out, might be defected hard to say
I have tried to installed each item at different times so that if there is a problem then it is easier to find, just my idea
Hope things work out nothing worse than a new Jeep that doesn't run

I have 10,000 miles on my 07 jk and it still occasionally acts like the starter is sticking but it has done it since i got it and is only occasional so i deal with it but i have never had rough idle problems

Had chip in and out on and off its not the problem. Its actually better with the chip. Now it take about 8 seconds to start. Ill get it to different dealer next week.

hmmm....yeah, definately take it elsewhere but I do reccomend you remove the chip before heading in, and I honestly wouldn't mention anything about the chip
