Default Hard top Scratch protection?

hey guys,
i just got finished wheeling at some local land and there were branches all over the place. now, the hard top has all kinds of scratches on the top, sides, and even back. anyone got any ideas on how to prevent these scratches, possibly some kind of cover?

Default Hard top

Question how deep are the scratches?, I have a few that removed the paint. So far I have no solutions.

For years as a trail guide for Jeep Jamboree I wanted our Jeeps to look show room condition at all times, so scratches on the hard tops were fixed with a black perma marker and a couple of coats of black shoe polish.

You will use a small tin on each coat. Apply with a shoe brush and buff with a terry/cotton rag or electric wool buffer.

Thanks man! I never thought I would get them to go away. This worked for me.

Shoe Polish? But wouldn't that leave drip marks when it gets wet or rains? I mean when you polish your shoes the leather absorbs the polish but unless I'm missing something fibreglass doesn't

If you're looking for a more permanent solution, there's someone on this forum...I forget exactly who, but there's a thread out there somewhere and he has pics of his hardtop that he coated completely in line-x, inside and out. Whenever my top gets that scratched up, I think I will do that too. Then you'll never have to worry about it again.

HA just use a Sharpie if it bothers you that much... That reminds me of this time this kid came into the dealership with his Jeep after storing the hardtop for the summer. He had duct taped a tarp to the top to cover it . When he was uncovering it from storage the tape peeled the paint right off the top under it! It must have been like ripping a band aide off your arm, only much more painful!
