I believe the OP is saying where the gutter ends at the windshield / A pillar it leaks out there when the door is opened and leaks on to the floor. I don't GAF about it as I remind myself the Jeep has carpet that can get wet without going moldy. I just live with it- after all it is a Jeep.
But if you had to I would add something to make it 'wick' out about 3-4" (like a short piece of foam or rubber tubing, but in my case that would just get wiped out in the next bush trip. Or you could move to AZ, CA, TX and that solves the problem. Slippery slope when you start modifying factory seals.
