LMAO, there headlights no computer needed there. You would be best with new housings like the ones from IPF. I did just there housing and new silverstar sylvania ultra bulbs and its way better.

I put IPF headlight kit and it was a world of difference over stock headlights, I used the IPF headlights that came with the kit.
I believe they are 4400k versus the silver star ultras are 4000k. The IPF headlights are glass versus the plastic OEM.

IPF (that is the same company that Makes ARB and old mad emu) cost around $160 versus trucklight that are HID. I'm happy with mine :)

Are your bulbs blue colored that came with kit?
I helped a local guy here with his IPF kit and blue bulbs that came with his and I just have silverstars H-13 upgrade. We did a side by side comparison and we thought mine looked clearer. He's supposed to put the h-4 series silverstars in his IPF housings and I bet those housings with silverstars will be the better route

I literally just finished swapping out my stock bulbs w/ Sylvania Silverstar Ultras (9800) and it took me 30 minutes. Plug and play...

Yuppers so far I'm just happy with that upgrade, I don't do much night driving but it's way better than stock

Yes they are a blue color. I did notice the silver star ultras are a bit less blue then the IPFs. Once the IPFs burn out I will probably switch to silver stars

Yes the IPFs Has more of a blue tint then the silverstars. Once one of the bulbs burnout I will probably switch to the ultras

Clearer? The silverstars in the stock housings aren't even in the same league as the IPF's....regardless of which bulb you use. I would do the Phillips extreme over the silverstars any day...
