I need help in finding the right carrier buid kit for my jk 2009 Sahara auto. Unfornatelty I've opened the rear differential and can't find the right parts now. I have 33 inches tyres do I go for regearing or continue with stock gears? I drive my jk daily and go off roads sometimes
I am in an 08 auto with a rear trutrac and front arb. Ran 5.13 Yukon gears but had to use different bearings for the front arb I forget why but the kit included bearings were not correct. 5.13 with 35” tires on 15” wheels brought this thing back to life and then some. Gas mileage is well awful but the drive ability is worth it. I have a daily driver as this Jeep turned into more of a pleasure vehicle for off-road. I would definitely regear. Maybe go to 4.56 if you don’t plan on going to 35’s. There is a chart floating around.
