Help me find the leak
 

I have a leak somewhere on the drivers side front that I have been chasing for a few months that I cant figure out. It only seems to happen while the jeep is in motion. It is almost dry to the touch every time I check it and has no scent. I have cleaned the area off to make sure it wasnt just something I ran over but the stain keeps showing back up in various areas as shown. Because it has no scent I was thinking it might be the trans cooler line which runs above the frame rail but I can't really get eyes up there to see. I have been keeping a close eye on all my fluids but everything looks fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Looks like it's been flung up to the high spots by the tire rotation, so I'd be looking low.

It could be your shock letting go, but I don't see any oil coming directly from that.

It could be the inner seal of the axle tube is leaking. Can't tell from the pictures if the end of the axle tube is wet for sure, but it looks like it might be. But gear oil is pungent and should leave a lingering smell.

It could be a brake leak near the wheel, maybe from a line or the calipers. That would certainly explain why it has low odor. The only place it can go is onto the spinning wheel.

ATF4+ would sure stay really oily IMO, and that would be a lot to lose from somewhere. If there was a leak in that it would be a constant leak. To me, this looks more like brake fluid, and if you think about it, it would only be happening when the peddle is depressed (no continuous leak). i think i'd start there. I just don't think it's anything that is oily. Coolant would be the other thing that could come to mind as a wet fluid that is not oily, but i'd think you'd smell that.
