Default Help with a new Rubicon

I have 2014 Flame Red Rubicon. What I want to do is add on the backup camera, which I can not believe they do not offer. By the the way thiis is my 7th jeep so I am not new to them or this forum. I know how to do that part, but what I need help or info on is I want to paint the front grill black, like the Willys model but am not certain what shade of black that is. Is it a flat or Matt black? I have even tossed around the idea of bedliners material, but not sure yet. Also I like the looks of the black Willys rims. Could someone tell me what rims those are? I know people will ask why I did not just get the Willys, answer was I could not find one as loaded or as reasonable as my Rubicon and I have discovered over the 7 jeeps that in have owned, that the Rubicon model sells the quickest. Thanks!

Going for a Willys poser.. about the only thing I can help you with is the rims.. they are the Rubicon 10th anniversary rims.. Painted either Granite Crystal or Black.. So if you already have these rims on your jeep.. yet they could be black with silver trim or gold with silver trim.. Just needs to be blacked out.. what I would do, is find someone with the color rims and swap them.. Me, I like these gear looking rims, wish I had a set.. I'm going for a Sahara/Rubicon look.. so I have a long way to go.

Use black Plasti Dip for your grill and wheels. Follow the instructions. If you don't like it just peel it off.

Back-Up Camera: AEV offers a plug n play. It's not cheap, but I installed one on my '08 with NAV several months ago and have had zero issues.

Default camera thread

For your back up camera, look in the electrical section, and look at the 430 back up camera thread. 19 pages as of today. I just did my 13 Rubi. 3 hours, $30 in parts off amazon, $65 to get dealer to turn on the code in my radio... works great.

Plastidip the grill. I did my wheels, liked them for a while, then peeled it off and went back to stock. Easy and no problems if you don't like it.

Good luck.
