Hitch help
Get a Class III. Since you have an auto, the jeep should match up nicely with regard to towing capacity. That being said, remember that it is a Jeep and its not meant to tow the large stuff.
The receiver in the first picture is like the stock receiver. It mounts using the factory mount points of the rear tow hook or factory installed receiver. The second picture - if its actually for a JK - is a frame mount style hitch that would bolt to each frame rail.
Personally, I would go with the one in the first picture. If it breaks, you probably shouldn't have tried to tow that particular trailer.

I really don't think that second hitch will fit a JK. I agree with Happy--it's a stock photo and somebody pulled the wrong one.
That stock photo is on Hidden Hitch's website. With two different models that look simular.

I think that the 07s came with 4.10s with the tow package and since then X and Sahara's come with 3.73s if you have the tow package. If you have the 3.21s you will want to keep the wieght down.
Either way get the Class III with a 2" receiver, there are a lot more accessories for the 2" The 1st hitch is like my factory hitch and has taken several hits on rocks and is very solid.

I still do not hink the picture is for a JK, the stock one slips around the rear crossmember and is held on with 4 bolts clamp it to & through that piece. Tucked up just about as high and tight as it can get and i drag it offroad and banged it on the road once going into a steep parking ramp.
The one in the picture looks like it mounts to the bottom/back of the frame rails, and the hitch itself is mounted to an added crosspiece below that "L" shaped shelf like bracket. That would nearly drag on the ground on a stock jeep enetering or exiting just about any driveway or parkinglot with any type of incline to it, and not even going to mention what it would do offroad, other than to say i hope it comes with the attachment to drop corn seeds in the furrow it would leave.
Edit: I went to hidden hitches web-site. I looked up the part number you have shown above. In the drill down to get to it it shows the picture above, and underneath that it syas "TYPICAL PHOTO"
If you click on the Part number 90157...

It shows this photo:

thats the way the OEM one mounts, accept for that little pea-shooter reciever tube.
