Yep, saw that it was SEARS when I googled but yikes, $229-289! They have a die hard marine (a little more in my immediate budget) for $125. That any good?

When I had this similar issue back in 2007 of a starter that only clicked I too bought a new yellow top battery. With a new battery, the next day, the starter only clicked. I thought it was static in the key fob as one thread back then suggested. But the bump/ wiggle of the shifter works.

140K has the usual 3.8 oil consumption - clock spring - seatbelt - radiator (dealers fault) - water pump - belt tensioner and belt - FP ABS sensor - FP wheel bearing - alternator - ball joints. all other repairs have been due to trail damage

2008 with 110,000 miles
Problems have been fuel tank overflow when filling
Most recently it has been in 3 times for exhaust manifold issues
It runs excellent still.....I think I'll keep it a long long time.
O, I did get it with the lifetime warranty
