You should download a copy of the owners manual here:

Free Jeep Owners Manuals in .pdf Format

Ignore where it implies you have to pay for it--that's just poor website design (select your model year and model on that page and you'll see what I mean). Once you have the .pdf file, you can use search in Adobe Reader to quickly find the answer to questions like yours (usually much quicker than using the printed copy of the manual).

Ain't that the truth. LOL I find myself getting gas much more often than before. Small tank + overly fun vehicle = many stops at the station.

Didn't somebody have an tank upgrade mod? I have no clue where I saw it, but it looked like somebody was starting to make a larger tank for the JK. I have been looking for it and can't find it again.

Smile Full tank

I was going to ask the same question. Because I read 18.6 gal. in the manual but every time I fill up when the tank is very low- light on for over 40 miles and I think it's empty. Then I fill up and it's always 14.8~15.0 gallons So does that mean I have 3 or 4 gallons in the tank when it states EMPTY?
Anyone else seeing this?
