Default I'm hesitant to call it "death wobble"

I recently put stock sahara wheels (18") and tires (255/70R/18) on my 2013 sport. I'm hesitant to call it "death wobble", but there is noticable shaking in the the front end when I reach approx. 55 mph. This never happened with the stock 16" wheels and tires. I'm hoping it was just a poor balance job when they were installed?? Any thoughts/suggestions??

Thanks!

I doubt it is Death Wobble. You'll know it when and if you get DW it feels more like the front end has come loose. I would bet that the balance is off on one or more wheel

Sounds like out of balance tire or loose lug.

After dealing with DW a few times let me assure you that you will never think you have death wobble, you will know without a doubt.

It probably needs to be rebalanced. Also, it could be a bubble in the tire, though not as likely.

I had the wheels rebalanced and rotated.......now its 100 times worse. They're saying it could be a tire problem?? I'm putting back on the original wheels

I had that problem. It turned out to be the metal strands separated in tire. So basically it felt like a had a square wheel
