The Infinity sound system really wasn't a sell feature for me getting the 2012 Rubicon. Now that I have a bit of time to mess with the stereo I noticed that I can turn the Bass all the way up and down, with the fade set to the back, and not notice any difference in the sound. At best very, very little difference. I have gone back there and listened to the sub, and it seems that there is a bit of sound coming out of it. It seems like maybe an amp wasn't hooked up. I would rather just pull it out, but I want to keep it nice in there for resale value.

I have heard that taking the hard top wire off can lower the sound. It is still attached in case you were wondering.

I'm working with the lowest stereo that doesn't have a touchscreen.

QUESTION:: Should I take it in for the repair guys to check out the sub or is it just a joke.

My sub sounds really good. Might want to check your wiring. It rattles my hardtop

Mine was pretty pathetic, but not unnoticeable. 12" Polk fixed it though.

there is another thread on here somewhere where someone switched the wires on the voice coil and it made a huge difference for them, like they were put on wrong from the factory.
