Default Inspecting/ Centering Clock Spring

I was changing out my steering gear box and let the steering wheel get away from me. Now that everything's buttoned back up my esp light's on which is telling me I messed up with the clock spring. Is there any way I can get in there to see if maybe I just got it off centered? And of course if I did, anyone know the best way to re-center it? Thanks all.
