Default Interior lights stopped working

The interior lights no longer work when I exit the vehicle, but dome lights still function normally, is there anything I could check out before taking it to the dealer? Tried both doors, no go. I drive a 2010 sport 2dr. Thanks for any info.

From the '07 Owner's Manual: "When a door is open and the interior lights are on, rotating the dimmer control all the way down to the OFF detent will cause all the interior lights to go out. This is also known as the "Party" mode because it allows the doors to stay open for extended periods of time without discharging the vehicle’s battery."

Also, do you have the electrical connectors for the doors hooked up? If those aren't hooked up, the vehicle assumes you don't have the doors installed.

Finally, one last related item: On a four door, the rear dome light can be activated by pressing it. Most of us learn this when we inadvertently bump it while reaching into the back, then it doesn't go out when we close the doors. LOL.
