Default Jeep Grill Problem

Hey everyone, I am the second owner of my 08 Sahara and on the front grill there looks like it had many bug splatters on it. Like you go on a long trip and you come back with bugs everywhere. Well I think the previous guy left them on too long and now nothing will come off and it looks as if the paint is chipped. Attached is a picture of the grill and what the splatters look like. The splatters are also on the fenders.

Crimsoncole,
Looks like the love bugs were left on too long. The acid in their bodies will etch into paint and chrome. Not too much you can do now but remove the grill, sand it down, prime and paint. You have to remove the love bug guts after every ride or suffer the consequences of mother nature. Hydrogen peroxide works great at breaking down the protein in the guts so removal is easy.
