jeep wont start
Hadn't driven the jeep in three days. Got in, interior lights came on, put key in ignition, turned it and just got clicks with no engine turn over. All the lights on the dash came on, radio came on but clock was reset to 12:00. What do I need to fix!
Also, I have an AEV procal if that matters.
Thanks.

Charge the battery or get a jump and see if it starts.
Sounds like you've got enough juice to power the lights but not enough crankin amps.
If what I said above doesn't work then check your flux capicitor. There have been a number of thefts regarding those lately and someone might have gotten yours.

Several months ago, I got the turn key and small click sound-no start problem. Bumping the shifter to park would start it. Then progressed to having to start in Neutral. The problem disappeared for a couple of weeks, but returned, then requiring a shift thru to 1 to Park and then to Neutral to start. This no-start situations would be several in a row or sporadic over several days.
And now two days ago, get in and the starter engages with a stronger single click or three clicks, but not start. The dash lights up including the sway bar light and the squares around tranny letters (but no battery light) and the clock is reset to 1200. Try a couple of times with the same result. Once out of those tries, I did get a noFuse message (haven't been able to repeat that one). Lights do not appear to be dimming, but since I have a dual-batt setup, I press the switch to tie the two together and the JK starts right up. Drive around and continues to start up. Next morning, same strong click from starter and no start. Notice dual-batt solenoid indicates batteries are isolated. Get a meter out and I've got 12.5 on starter batt and 12.6V on aux batt (yellow optimas; 2.5ish and 1.5ish years on both respectively).
The dome lights and dash light up bright but clock is reset. Pulled the main IOD which reset the radio but still same strong click but no start. Switch the solenoid to tie the batts and starts right up as normal.
Thinking about the suggested grounding, but curious as to why the clock is resetting when the starter battery is good?

Just thought of one more thing that you can check yourself. Grab the terminals on your primary batt and see if you can make them turn on the post. If they move at all that could be your only problem. When you go to start if the post and clamp aren't tight enough it will arc and create a carbon spot that removes your connection and causes the loss of power. If they are tight then it really only leaves you with a bad batt.
