jeep wont start
I don't not have the actual part number but the description of the part its correct...park/ neutral sensor switch or whatever the official name of it is, but more then likely if bumping the shifter worked then its most likely the problem.
even when the switch is functioning properly it will only start in neutral or park...nothing else. I'm trying to find a write up for the switch replacement...will edit with a link if I can find it

My not so old problem is back...
Few times, when I tey to start my JK, it just do not start. It is everything normal, but the engine do not start... Then I try sometimes and it just work...
Batery is ok,
Start engine is ok,
Safety sensor is ok
Ground is cleaned...
What else??
I'm starting to think about exploding my JK...
If anyone want more details, just ask...

I was getting the Click-no-start problem about every 20 starts. Took it by mechanic and he said the battery checked out but It was most likely not enough battery. I bought the mack daddy he had for about 130. Got home, same problem.
I called the dealership and he said he could fix it for about 160, run a new ground wire and some other thing I cant remember. He said he didnt know what was causing it, but after these two fixes nobody ever came back. So it seems there is 2 small issues that cause it.
Kinda sucks because you always have that thought in the back of your head, "am I gonna get stranded out here?"
