Default JKU Towed 4000 pound toy hauler 350 miles

Thought I would report on my towing experience this weekend. 2012 manual JKU sport with 3:73 rear. For this trip the 15ft toy hauler probably weighed around 4000 pounds. I kept the cruise control on the highway at 63mph. My fuel economy was 12mpg. Was caught in tornado warning weather in PA on Friday night and drove through 30mph gusts tonight on the ride home. I did have a firm grip on the steering wheel and.could feel the wind pushing me around some but sway was minimal.

In your pic it looks like the front end is a bit high. You might want to add some tension on your weight dist bars or tip your hitch head a little bit. You should get near equal amount of drop on the front and rear ends when hitched up.

Glad you made it safely. Keep an eye on that sway it can get ya at any moment.
