Keyless Entry Inoperative
Possible, but I just have a hard time believing a Chinese scanner will tell me what the computer is seeing behind the scenes. Keys are programmed and work, just not keyless entry.
IT not a scanner like you think, It is a program in your phone VIN locked to that one vin and it lets you see just about every sensor the computer sees. I used it to watch my wheel speed sensors to see which one was not working. It even knows if the GPS antenna is hooked up. There is a remote sensor also.. But keep doing what you doing and the answer will come to ya. dealer been a real help for ya.
I dropped mine off at the dealership yesterday to see what they come up with. $200 diagnostic fee will be applied toward the repair. I had 2 fobs made at a locksmith and both transmitted according to his tool, both worked in the ignition, but the jeep keyless entry feature wouldn't see them or wouldn't respond.
I read a bunch of different things online before I dropped it off, and I've asked the dealer to also quote for installing/enabling remote start, since that already requires installation of a new WCM and an antenna, along with programming (essentially replaces / changes the whole receiving side).

Dealership said "you just need some of our keys" ... $418 each. Nah. They also said there is no remote start option for 2007 JKU .. that's surprising, but if they had one I'm sure they'd try to sell it.
I'm going to try my luck with a different type of aftermarket one. Not sure it'll ever be worth $400 to have the buttons working.
