Default Leaking from back of transmission

Hey,

My JK jas about 45,000 miles on it. I recently was rear ended... nothing too bad, just needed a new bumper.

Now I've noticed a small red drip on the back of the transmission where it mates up with the transfer case. I figure the jolt may have messed up the seal back there. I'm not confident that I will be able to convince the insurance company of that...

I've never worked on a 4x4 before. On a regular car/truck, I'd know that I have to change the seal on the back of the transmission where the driveshaft slips in. How are things with the transfer case? Is there still a seal on the back that can be pulled and replaced?

Another dumb question... they aren't putting ATF in the transfer case, right? I'm assuming that because the fluid is red its coming from my automatic transmission and not the transfer case.

Any suggestions or pictures of the back of the transmission with the transfer case removed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sal
