Default Leather Advice

Im about to have Katskin seat covers installed on my 17 JKU.
I'm trying to decide between normal leather and perforated leather.

I travel with a dog in the car alot, but 95% of the time in the far back.
Top comes off a few times a year
I live in San Diego

Tips? Advice?

For me, normal leather all the time for a seat, but could vary use by use. I think the perforated looks nicer when new, but think about when seats are dusty, dirty and sandy. I installed katkins years ago. They are a great product. If you don't have seat heaters that is the time to do it. I know you're in a warm climate, but even here in Texas mine get a lot of use. One thing I would say is that if your jeep is, or gets lifted, years of sliding off my seat to get out really wore the top stitch on that seat bolster to the point I had a couple tiny spots where it was coming apart. Just keep that in mind when you're getting out as just paying attention will save years of life for the skin.

really appreciate your thoughts. That's why i was leaning with standard over perforated. The cooler bum was appealing though...
