Just got my letter today, it pertains to 2007 and 2008 and if you have previously paid for a repair you can file for reimbursement. My wife is going to be taking it in this week for repair.

Got mine today also. I called the dealer right away and the service guy said he had never heard of it. I said...you don't drive a Jeep, do you? LOL. Anyway, make sure you bring a COPY of the letter with you to the service dept. Keep the original one.

I haven't filled up since i got her. I can't wait to finally not have fuel pour out of her!!

OH, btw, go in to service with a near empty tank or you will just lose the gas that's in it.

Love

They will reimburse you as well. I'm so glad they finally did this. No more slow fills.

the key word in the letter is "certain". they will have to run your VIN# to see if it is within the build dates. That is a generic letter probably sent to all owners of 07 and 08 Jeeps.

personally I would call them first to check if your VIN# is within that date, unless you already know it. My VIN# was not, the dealer is 45 minute drive each way for me. So a 5 minute phone call saved me that trip

Mine was built a couple weeks before the date in the TSB. I've never had the problem. I would hope that means that Chrysler knows what's causing the problem, and they've been able to isolate it to certain build dates with certainty. Anyone with a pre-March 2007 JK ever have the fuel spit back problem?
