Little red light....
Yesterday afternoon when I got in the Jeep to go home from work, there was little red light illuminated on the console just above the temp guage (I think it was there at least). I forgot about it by the time I got home and didn't look at the owners manual.
Anyone know what that light means? I assume it has something to do with the security system but I don't really know and don't have time right now to go out and get the manual.
I sure wish DC would post the owners manual in PDF format online - for free.

It seems that I have never seen it before yesterday. And yes, it did go off when I turned the key. Does the light mean that someone tried to open the door without the key?

Yeah, I forgot about that!
Thing is, it doesn't seem to work exactly how I described in my earlier post. I've noticed the red light, and that's the info I got from the manual... but today when I got in my Jeep, the light was not on... so now I'm not exactly sure. As far the system letting you know it's been triggered in your absence, it's supposed to hong 3 times when you unlock. That means the alarm was tripped while you were gone.
