Lost the rubber piece on the hard top clamp...
 

Any thoughts on what to do except pay the dealer $12 to order this little rubber piece?

It is the rubber piece on the front window clamp.

I took a piece of clear silicone tubing, split it down the side, and slipped it over the bracket bar. Works well.

I used the silicon tubing for awhile until I found the rubber thing under my seat. At least your dealer is good enough to find that part. Mine said they only sell the entire latch assembly :sad2:. People just don't take pride in doing their jobs anymore.

I went to 2 dealers looking for that same piece...said I had to buy the entire hinge for $37!:thinking: Do you happen to have a part # for JUST the rubber piece?

I was told also that you could only order the whole latch....for $50 each!! If there is a part # for the bumper please share!!! I have resorted to rubber brake line....which does the job for now.

thats cheap my dealer said 64$ as they dont list just the rubber part now i have two mismatched latches. i was able to get mine replaced under warranty though

Under warranty??? My dealer said it couldn't be covered under the warranty....how did ya do it??

My dealer told me $73 for the latch! Right now I'm using a split fuel line and another chunk of rubber to keep it snug. Part # please!
