Loud Buzzing, Upper Left Side Dash
This morning out of nowhere, I started hearing a very loud buzzing sound coming from the left side upper dash. It almost seems like it is coming from the speaker, but I don't think that's the source:
1. The buzzing starts abruptly, stays constant for a minute or two, becomes intermittent for a couple of seconds, and then stops.
2. The buzzing does not seem to coincide with road conditions or vibrations.
3. I heard it three times this morning: twice while going about 70mph on the interstate (the buzzing lasted for a couple of minutes). Once when I was slowing down to make a turn, about 20-30mph--this one was very intermittent, only lasted a couple of seconds.
4. The buzzing occurs whether the radio is on or off. When the radio is on while the buzzing is occurring, the speaker itself sounds fine--not intermittent or cutting out or anything.
5. The buzzing occurs whether the AC/heater fan is on or off.
6. There are no dashboard lights coming on.
7. Hitting the dashboard doesn't seem to change the buzzing.

Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?
