It shouldn't be normal but there are a lot of jk with this issue. If you are burning more than 2 qts in 3000 miles then they should fix it if you still have a warranty. I'd be finding a new dealer

It sounds like a crappy dealer and/or you somehow have a bad relationship with them. Especially If you admitted to them running the engine 4 quarts low, they are going to try hard not to honor any warranty, even lifetime. You do not show your mods, but if it has a lift and tall tires, they may try to use that to get out of fixing it also.

Assuming they have not yet "red flagged" your Jeep, are there other dealerships in the area you can try to deal with?

Yes, there definitely is a big problem using that much oil. 1 quart per 3k miles is what Chrysler considers "normal." I would take it to a different dealer, and have them start an oil consumption test immediately

Definitely find a new dealer, and if they try to blow you off as well, get in contact with customer service at Chrysler. There should be a number in your owner's manual. They will then work with the dealer(s) on a resolution. 4 quarts isn't normal to burn in a Chrysler-recommended oil change interval. Be ready to prove that the car has been serviced according to the schedule while it's been in your care, though.

That's step 1. Step 2... we need to find out why that (. ) key on your keyboard doesn't work all the time

Why would you drive 4500 miles and never check the oil?

One quart loss per 1000 miles is acceptable per Chrysler standards. I have had my heads replaced after many tests for my oil consumption issues. Didn't work. I use 7 to 8 quarts per 1000 miles. More tests to be done. Next step will be new block.
This all takes lots of time because it is being done with my lifetime powertrain warranty. Every step has to approved by Chrysler.
