I find it much easier if you have the windows rolled down and say for example you are taking the driver's door off....

1. after the hinge bolts have been taken off, open the door and make sure you are still standing on the outside face of the door...

2. use your left hand to grip the door frame from underneath...

3. then put your right arm through the door's open window and grab the underside of the upper window frame. You will basically form an "L" brace with your arm. You'll get better leverage this way instead of trying to grip the door handle with your right hand...

4. lift door off hinges using the power of your legs vs. using your back/arms...

5. done deal...
