Default manifold leak?

Has anyone had a problem with a leaking exhaust manifold or donut gasket? Mine sounds like it is leaking in that area but cannot pinpoint.... 07 JK 4-door

Yup... I'm at 60k miles... probably noticed it a while back though... but I'm getting some warranty work done, and while they had it up, they said the gasket has cracked. When they went to replace it, they then said the manifold was cracked. Part is in, Jeep goes in on Monday to get it replaced. All under warranty (extended warranty at least).

Did you just find a nut and and bolt from Lowes that fit and tighten it down?

My driver side manifold was replaced for cracking right before my warranty ended at 36,000m. Passenger side cracked no tellin how long ago, I fixed it last week with some of that exhaust putty cold weld stuff. Stock manifolds are garbage on these things.

I think they are $70 or so. I would go aftermarket or weld the stock manifold, because a replacement will just crack again.

My 08 driverside manifold cracked at 42k, the dealer replaced in under the lifetime powertrain warranty. I was going to go aftermarket if it wasnt covered.
