Manual Transmission Filter? Exist?
Does the manual not have a filter? This is my first manual transmission and I know that an auto has a filter and I only had to change the fluid every 60000 miles and ours says every 30000. Is this because there is no filter? As for changing the oil will a drain justify or does the dealer do a flush also? Sorry for the multiple questions just that no one mentioned anything about this.

There's no fluid circulation in a manual transmission, just as in a transfer case or differential. It's splash lubrication, like a cheap lawnmower engine. No way to install a filter, nor really any need.

I just answered this in the other thread where you asked the same question. Take a look...
