Default Mechanics...shade tree too!

Plugged in my Accupro, to adjust the tire size, and dial it in a little, and it says I have DTC code P000E, which I looke dup as Fuel pressure regulator code, however, nothing shows or registers in the dash, i.e. Check engine light! What would cause this? Is it something I should have the dealership check? Just a little knowledge would be helpful.

Thanks.

I would just reset it and see if it comes back.

Thanks IGO, I did that the first time it happened, and the ignoring it method didn't appear to work. Any other hints?

Does the check engine light shine when you first start up? Do all of the lights show up when you first start up?

I wonder if the fuel pressure regulator would trip the check engine light at all. Typically all the check engine light goes on for is emissions issues (like O2 sensor readings).

Seems like a standard code when you first turn on power. Once you start then pressure regulator is normal. I think its one of those generic ignore codes. If you had a fuel pressure issue you would know it!!!!
Did you just fill up the gas tank? Check engine light would come on if you had a defective gas cap.
