Default mobil one or...

Does anyone find a difference between mobile one and
other synthetic oils? e.g. super tech from walmart?

I had 210,000 miles on my last truck till a A-hole crashed into it and I only ran Mobil 1 in that and now my new Jeep too.

if you have the lifetime powertrain warranty dont waste the money. Just change your oil every 3k and save your receipts.

That would keep the warranty intact . . . you will be more likely to need it under the lifetime warranty.

I've run nothing but Mobil 1 in all of my Mustangs, both for street and strip, I'm convinced it's worth the extra cash. I just did my first oil change in my JK last month, used Mobil 1 and Motorcraft extra capacity filter, and to my surprise my gas mileage got way better. I'm now averaging 23 MPG combined. So the difference in cost might be made up with fuel savings.

mustangpro, if mobile1 made the wrangler have 23MPG dont u think Jeep would use it from the factory and call it a 23MPG Jeep??

Imagine the lonely gas station attendant standing there watching JK's drive by. (old Compass commercial that I think Toyo or Honda uses now, but featuring a JK instead)

P.S.- I only run Amsoil in my Mustang. But A. I run the hellout of it, and B. There is no warranty.

I always use Mobil 1 in anything that I care about...especially my JK! I truly believe it affords a little extra margin of protection.

Dont forget, its not just your oil, but your oil filter that makes a difference too. I for one just changed my oil and had a K&N oil filter on it with mobil 1, wont be using K&N again. Oil seemed very dirty for being full synthetic and only on 3000 miles. Going to all mobil products from now on.
