Modify a Safari Top for better fit?
I have a safari top for my JK - it is well designed and fits well but I have two issues with it:
1 - Flaps in the wind like crazy at higher speeds - I can stuff towels into it to stop the flapping, but who wants to have to do that?
2 - Time to install - it take a bit longer than I would like it to. Lots of straps and wrapping.
There is a canvas guy close to my house who builds custom boat covers and like. I am thinking about having him take a look to see if we can improve on the fit and install of the safari top.
Anyone have ideas/recommendations to be considered??

I remember for TJ's seeing an add-on "bow". The idea was it pushed the top up to help prevent the flapping.
Only think I can't remember is either went along the center of the jeep from windshield to rollbar to rear-bow OR it went across it. Just can't remember which is was.
Can't find a link for it either. Probably be pretty easy to make one out of pipe or something.
