Default Mods and warranty issues

Hi everyone, what's everyone's experience with dealers when wanting to mod up your jeep. How far can you go and still retain your warranty? I've built a nice long list now of things I want to do to my jk which is still stock, these are as follows in roughly the order that I want to fit them.

ARB bumper
Warn winch
A couple of spots for the front
2" lift (not sure which one at present)
33 AT tyres
fitted radio (to replace the handheld I use at present)

and next year
ARB air locker for the front (the rear copes quite well with the limited slip diff)

I'll probably check with the local dealership to see how they feel about these mods (I spoke with one of their mechanics already who seemed to feel that the bumper and winch wont cause an issue).

What does everyone think ?? ps. the stock tyres are getting pretty torn up already so will need to move quickly on the lift and tyres. Any recommendations on 33 tyres, a good compromise between road and track, no rock crawling but some mud and plenty of loose and rutted forrest tracks. We will be doing some long distance trips this year (with the wife driving some).

Thanks for any comments.

I have discussed doing a lift with my dealership. Many dealerships are doing the lifts themselves to JK's on the lot and selling them as special packages. My dealership has told me they can do my JK and would therefore stand behind the work and my warranties would still be in effect. Of course if a failure occurs due to gross negligence there might be an issue, but I was told they have had some people that went wheeling and broke an axle and the repair was covered by the dealership. The cost for them to do the lift was competitive when compared to some of the aftermarket shops in my area. So the best I can tell you is to discuss it with the dealership parts folks and see what happens. Good luck!

Thanks for that, I had assumed that the dealership would be far more expensive than local 4wd specialist garages. I'll ask them about the mods and see what they say.

Just FYI the biggest cost in the dealership doing the work is the labor rate. I was quoted about $90 per hour and they estimate the job at four hours. Tires run a close second.......
