I have a 2015/JK unlimited sport and original mopar soft top. I need a replacement part - the small clip on the bar that has the pin on it, it just screws onto the underside of the bar right over the driver door, where the spring lever should snap in. From the schematics online I cannot tell what this part is called. Its in a remote place at the moment, no photo available. Any suggestions?

I've found that those online diagrams are horribly tiny. This is for the 2007 JK, so not sure it has exactly the part you describe (I can't figure it out from your verbal description, but I haven't had my soft top on my JK in years. Too much involved with all of the overlanding mods I now have on it). Anyway, maybe this will help you ...

 

That is the most confusing description possible. I can't tell what part you're talking about. You're talking about something that screws into the frame itself in the area over the driver's door?

 

Quadratec.com has many OEM parts for the soft tops. My 2012 JK is missing the part below which Quadratec sells.

 

Thanks all for the quick replies - i have found the part in a video of the install. I cannot tell on the schematic what this part is - anyone have suggestions? It has screws from the underside, and a plastic pin on the interior side that the lever/hook connects to. The video showing this is here at 3'47"

I think the part you are looking for is called

SUNRIDER TOP PIVOT KNUCKLE

There is a seperate part # for the right and left side.

The right side is 68003652AB

Left side is 68003652AB

 

The Sunrider Knuckle is a different part of the sunrider top. The part I am looking for is part of the bow Assembly and is not sold separately. you have to buy both left and right for close to $300.
