Default mud etched clear coat

So I got the jeep muddy for the first time on saturday. Sunday when I washed the mud off there were big etch marks in the clear coat on the grille and the cowl. Has anyone else had this problem?

That will happen with any vehicle. That is why you always wet a vehicle before you try and wash it. To avoid scratching your clear coat wtih grit.

wash, buff, and wax your jeep. something alot of guys dont do is wax there jeep right when they get it and every three months there on after. the wax will not only help the mud come off easy but keep paint looking new and clean. oh and if tour doing heavy mudding put some rainx on the windows mud shouldnt stick too bad.

the jeep was waxed the weekend before. I tried to hand buff them out with no luck. I'm not sure what to do now.
